Occasionally I'll get a phone call or email from someone complaining that they're industry is too tightly controlled to do seminars. One example is financial planners - they can't do anything unless the compliance dept. give approval first.
In reality, that means they just don't want to jump through the flaming hoops to get compliance to sign-off on and approve their seminar materials and presentation - but here's an easier way around this: go directly to compliance and ask them for pre-approved promotional materials.
If your industry or profession is tightly controlled, like financial planners, don't let that be a barrier to your seminar success. Remember this quote:
"People fail in direct proportion to the socially acceptable excuses they're willing to accept".
