A Presidential Presentation Style?

A Presidential Presentation Style? Did you see the Republican party's presumptive nominee John McCain on the Daily Show with John Stewart this week? How last week on Saturday Night Live, did you happen to catch that?

Don't worry, my faithful readers (all 2.5 of you... ;-) I'm not going political on you and I never will - you are sharp enough to know why I'm brining this up, right?

It's because perception and image is EVERYTHING and that's no exception in a presidential race either. Think back on past presidents and who "seemed presidential" - did Reagan? Did Carter? Did Clinton? Does Dubya Bush?

If yes, why? If not, why? Ha! It's all about presentation skills! How you speak, your tone of voice and gestures and body posture... so why did McCain appear on those TV shows? You guessed it!-because in those forums he has a chance for to present himself in a likable manner, and when voters are in the voting booth all alone, it's not policies and platforms that will truly decide their vote, it's how they feel about that candidate, and how they feel about that candidate will be based on... you guessed right again!-PRESENTATION SKILLS!
